It will provide current and accurate information on the requirements for entry into the health professions, information on career opportunities in health care, and a database of summer enrichment programs, research opportunities, and financial aid information.

Black Dental Edge
This is an African-American Dental resource site that is committed to encouraging African-Americans to study dentistry. The Web site features tips on financing a dental education, information on loan repayment programs, and links to dentistry photos including endodontic, orthodontic, oral surgery, and prosthodontic photos.

National Dental Association (NDA)
The NDA is the premier dental organization for ethnic minorities. It represents a family of 10,000 dentists, students, hygienists, assistants, spouses, and the communities they serve. It is the parent organization of the Student National Dental Association, and umbrella to the National Dental Hygienists Association, the National Dental Assistants Association, and the Auxiliary to the NDA (spouses).

National Institutes of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR)
The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) promotes the general health of the American people by improving their oral, dental and craniofacial health. Through the conduct and support of research and the training of researchers, the NIDCR aims to promote health, prevent diseases and conditions, and develop new diagnostics and therapeutics.

Summer Medical and Dental Education Program
The Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP), formerly the Minority Medical Education Program (MMEP), is a national academic enrichment program that helps promising, highly motivated students gain admission to medical school.
